Principal Letter, Bellaire Elementary School

Another school year is in the books! Congratulations on all of the joy and success experienced this year. With the 2023-2024 school year at a close, I want to thank each member of our great community. Your support and dedication have been key to fostering a nurturing and vibrant learning environment for our students.

We have achieved so much this year! Our students have excelled in the classroom, embraced new challenges, demonstrated wonderful character and kindness--all while having fun! As usual, our teachers and staff have gone above and beyond, providing exceptional education and care while building strong relationships.

I am proud of the culture at BES. The resilience and enthusiasm shown by our students and staff is amazing. Our success is a testament to the collaboration that defines our school community.

I also want to inform you of my decision to accept a new position within our district as the principal of Bellaire High School. This change will take effect at the beginning of next school year.

Serving as your principal has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Together, we have created an environment where our students have thrived academically, socially, and emotionally. I have been continuously inspired by the dedication and passion of our teachers, the support of our parents, and the bright, inquisitive minds of our students.

I am excited for Mrs. Amy Steele to become the new principal of Bellaire Elementary School. I am confident the school will continue to flourish under the leadership of Mrs. Steele, a longtime Bellaire educator. I am here to help with a smooth transition.

Thank you for the incredible support and kindness you have shown me over the years. I look forward to maintaining our strong connections and continuing to celebrate the successes of our wonderful students and community.
