April 2024 Upcoming Events

For Bellaire Elementary only: On Monday, April 8th, the highly anticipated total solar eclipse will pass over North America and should be visible in our area around 3:15pm. The total solar eclipse visits Ohio beginning at 3:08pm with the final exit of the Moon's shadow at 3:19 pm. The viewing in our area is going to be at a .971 magnitude.
Due to this timing of the eclipse and of BES dismissals, parents may sign out and pick up their students at 1pm on Monday, April 8th. These absences will be excused. We will not be having an early dismissal, but are allowing for this pick up opportunity.
Also, our district has purchased eclipse viewing glasses for every student and staff member. They will be distributed soon. You will be hearing from your teachers about specific sign out instructions. Happy viewing!

Shorts season is back! Students are able to wear shorts when they return from Easter Break. Please check the weather and use your best judgment!

3rd graders in Mrs. Vasey's class used wiki sticks to create quadrilaterals and discuss their attributes.
