Happy Thanksgiving from the Macy Day Balloons made by our K-4 Artists!
Second grade participated in their annual Thanksgiving rotation activities. In Mrs. Mamie's classroom, students pretended to be turkeys and used critical thinking and problem solving skills to work together to solve tasks and "escape" being Thanksgiving dinner. The winners are posted below 🦃
1st Grade had their 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade today! The students learned about the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Then they planned, created & participated in a parade for the whole school to see their amazing creations!
2nd Grade hosted their annual Thanksgiving rotations. Mrs. Patrone taught students about the Mayflower and had materials for students to build their own Mayflower Ship using minimal items. The ship had to float and hold “pilgrims” (marbles). 1st place held 593 pilgrims, 2nd place held 591 pilgrims, and 3rd place held 390 pilgrims. All students did a fabulous job! 🦃
Zayden had perfect attendance for the month of November. Thanks to those that helped make that possible. Enjoy a cup of tea/coffee on BES.

First grade got to have a visit from a local author, Abbey Duplaga, today. Such a treat to have a published author of children's books right here. Check her out online or see her books at the Olive Branch in the mall. Thank you so much Abbey! The kids enjoyed it so much.
Great job Gavin and Marley on the morning announcements this week! We missed you today Marley.
