Big Reds Community,
Please see our COVID-19 "At a Glance" Plan to reopen, restart, and reconnect. Our goal is to begin the school year in GREEN and as traditional as possible. With 40 days until our opening, circumstances could change. You will also find a letter from the Belmont County Department of Health in regards to school openings. We appreciate your patience and flexibility throughout this time. Go Big Reds!

If you didn't get a chance to pick up your child's belongings at the end of the year, they have been moved. They are at the Rock Hill Presbyterian Church Fellowship House on 214. The house will be open Wednesday from 10 to noon if you'd like to stop by. If you need to make other arrangements please leave a message.

Mrs. Carpenter had an all girl summer Zoom meeting this morning. We had a lot of fun and so did our stuffed friends. We sure did miss Tyce and Ethan. Can't wait to do it again next Friday.

Kindergarten registration remains open! Here is our online form: https://forms.gle/o1ummfhjfRR2N1hG7

**NEW KINDERGARTEN 2020-2021 PARENTS**
Please be sure to mail those enrollment forms and birth certificate copies back to Central Office. We must have those in order to get your child enrolled for next year.
Thank you! We look forward to meeting you soon. 🙂

Mrs. Carpenter's last Zoom meeting of the school year was a blast. We're going to miss each other so we decided we should Zoom during the summer!

Final Zoom meeting of the year for Mrs. Thorp's class. 😞 I'm going to miss these smiles! 😊

Kindergarten zoom meeting! What is in the bag? Wow, great job kids! You stumped your teachers!

Feeling the love and appreciation from an anonymous person! Thank you to whoever did this! ❤️

Flat Mrs. Mamie got to go on many adventures. She picked morels, walked a dog, exercised, rode bikes, jumped in a mud puddle, and got to hang out with some students and their families. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Big Red Moms!

Miss Giffin is retiring after 35 years of teaching. We thought it appropriate to recognize her during Teacher Appreciation Week for her dedication and love for children. We had a surprise drive by parade past her house Friday evening with many BES staff, friends and students celebrating her. Good luck Miss Giffin! We will miss you!

ATTENTION 4th GRADE PARENTS: If you have NOT submitted a preschool/kindergarten age photo yet, please email one to tdodds@bellairesd.org as soon as possible. It does not need to be a school picture, it can be one that you have taken.

Mrs. Carpenter's class always enjoys getting together. Last evening we played "What Am I?" led by the students. We saw live tadpoles and I read "Caps for Sale."
