Mrs. Keller’s 5th grade social studies classes are learning all about Native Americans. Today they did an Escape Room where they learned about the Olmec Tribe. The winners of the escape room were: Wyatt Streshenkoff, Abbie Fortz, Audrey Lednik, and Landon Wallace. This is such an awesome activity! Way to go! A special thank you to Mrs. Keller for making learning so engaging for our students!

After joining the Civil Air Patrol's Aerospace Education program this summer, Mr. Martin was able to apply for several new and exciting resources for his PLTW STEM course on Flight and Space. This week he received three flight simulator hardware and software packages and a radio-controlled aircraft to help students understand the fundamental concepts of flight and to provide hands-on learning opportunities. The combined value of the resources that Bellaire Middle School received was nearly $1000, so Mr. Martin and his STEM students would like to extend a huge thank you to the Civil Air Patrol which is the Civilian Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. 🌟❤️🌟🖤🌟

Greetings Bellaire Families! This is Miss Berdine, the principal of Bellaire Middle School. I am calling you with a few reminders. First, report cards went home today, October 27, and need to be signed and returned to the school tomorrow, October 28. Also, parent teacher conferences are next week on Thursday November 3rd in the evening from 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and on Friday, November 4th from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. All students were sent home with a letter this week, where you can indicate your preference for date, time, and what teacher(s) with whom you would like to meet. Those papers are also due to us tomorrow, October 28 . Finally, Monday, October 31 is the final day that students are permitted to wear shorts to school until the spring. Please be sure to bundle up and dress appropriately for colder temperatures. Thank you! Have a great evening and Go Big Reds!
