Final Student Day
The final day for online instruction will be Friday, May 15th. On this day, we will allow students to come to the building, practicing safe social distancing, to retrieve anything of importance that they may have left behind. This will also be an opportunity for students to pick up their yearbook if they had purchased one and for those students who borrowed Chromebooks to return them.
Schedule for students to come to BMS:
Friday, May 15th
5th and 6th Grade between 10 and 12
7th and 8th Grade between 12 and 2
Wearing a mask is recommended..

ALL BMS STUDENTS - Please make sure that you have completed the t shirt size assignment in google classroom. If you cannot complete it in google classroom please email your t shirt size to one of your teachers.

To further comply with the governor's order, Bellaire Schools will continue with remote learning for the remainder of the academic year. The last day for students is May 15th. Grades will be finalized during the week of May 18th.
Continue to communicate with teachers and principals with any questions. Thank you students, parents, and teachers for your effort, patience, and commitment during this time. More end-of-year information will be shared as decisions and plans are finalized
To remain consistent with the governors order, Bellaire Local Schools closure has been extended to May 1. Please continue to contact your teachers or principals with any questions as we move along with our online education.
This is just a reminder for all students that google classroom begins tomorrow. All students need to check their school email for invitations to classes. For more assistance see the link on the website named "Online Resources Site"
At this time both the 6th grade camp trip and the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. have been postponed for the foreseeable future. We are working with the vendors to reschedule both trips. If they cannot be rescheduled we will be refunding all deposits.

We are currently collaborating with staff to transition BMS to Google Classroom for the foreseeable future. Students should be working on the packets that were sent home on Friday. More information will be communicated soon.
Attention BMS students. BMS will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17th from 11 am to 1 pm for students to gather personal belongings that they may need over this extended break and for students that were absent on Friday to obtain their work packets.

As a result of the Governor's announcement this afternoon, Bellaire Schools will be operating on a 2 hour delay Friday, March 13 in an attempt to prepare instructional materials for the 3 week period during which school will be closed. All staff should report at regular time.

This is just a reminder that there will be a mandatory meeting for 8th grade parents and students concerning the Washington DC trip this Thursday, March 5th at 6pm in the BHS cafeteria. Parents and students are both required to attend. Thank you.
